of U.S. adults met the federal aerobic activity guidelines in 2024.

The estimate is based on the National Health Interview Survey and covers leisure-time aerobic activity.

Men and women, respectively, met the aerobic guideline in 2024.

The same CDC analysis found that 54.0% of adults ages 18–34 met the guideline, compared with 38.4% of adults 65 and older.
